Welcome to Newborough Cricket Club
We are a small friendly and ambitious village club that will see our 1st X1 play on Saturdays in Tucker Gardner Cambs Division 2 for the first time ever in 2011 as a result of winning Hunts 1 in 2010. We will also be playing in Rutland League Division 3 on a Sunday.
The 2nd X1 will be playing in Hunts Division 4 in 2011 (despite finishing 2nd in the league in 2010) as well as Rutland Division 6 (promotion achieved from division 7 at first attempt).
In addition we play in the Peterborough Mid Week League in which we blood our younger players to give them experience for when they progress into the first team. We are working hard to construct a new pavilion with our sponsor; J D Carter and to further enhance/develop our youth policy. Our nickname is 'The Bulls'.
