Welcome to Newborough Cricket Club
We are a small friendly and ambitious village club that play in Hunts League Division 1 on a Saturday and Rutland League Division 2 on a Sunday. In 2009 we fielded a 2nd X1 in league cricket for the first time and achieved promotion in our first season. The 2nd X1 will be playing in Hunts Division 4 in 2010 as well as Rutland Division 7. In addition we play in the Peterborough Mid Week League in which we blood our younger players to give them experience for when they progress into the first team. We are working hard to construct a new pavilion with our sponsor; J D Carter and to further enhance/develop our youth policy. Our nickname is 'The Bulls'.
