New Pavilion
We have drawn up plans for a new pavilion that will be situated on the site of the current scout hut, which is falling down. We have the support of the Charitable Trust that owns the land and now have planning permission. The fundraising is going well but we will need to keep going with this whilst we pursue other funding to complete the job. Please continue to provide your support. Update 3rd April 2010 - the old building has now been demolished and the remains removed, the soil survey has been undertaken & shows gravel/stone a couple fo metres down, which is good. We are now in the process of applying for funding. Update Feb 2011 - Various funding requests have failed, so a rveised plan is being considered. In the short-term the existing pavilion is being refurbished. Update Auust 2011 - funding applications are in and decisions awaited, int he meantime we will be holding a public meeting with the villagers in Septemebr to discuss our plans for the club. Update Sept 2011 - meeting held at village hall to let villagers know the detailed plans/substantial materials donated by club member and local insulation company. Meeting to be held with WREN 3rd Nov re funding applictaion -
